Huawei Glory 7i With 180 Degree Rotating Camera Goes Official
Just like previous rumors and leaks have hinted during the past couple of weeks, Huawei’s Glory 7i main attraction is an 180 degree flipping/rotating camera. But don’t think that the camera only has two fixed positions. Nope, according to Huawei, the camera can be manually positioned by the user at whatever angle he feels appropriate.
Staying in the camera department, the company assured the public that mechanism is very durable. You would need to flip the camera 136 times a day and it still wouldn’t break in the first two years of use. The sensor is also protected by a sapphire lens.
As far as the camera specs are concerned, Huawei 7i sports a 13MP, Sony-made, backside-illuminated sensor, with F2.0 aperture size and 28mm wide-angle shooting capabilities.
Announced today in Beijing, the rest of Huawei Glory 7i’s specs are as follows:
-5.2-inch, 1080p display (accounting for 79,8% of the smartphone’s front)
-Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC
-3GB of RAM + 32 GB of internal storage (1899 yuan, meaning roughly 297 USD)
-2GB of RAM + 16GB of internal storage (1699 or 1599 yuan / 266 or 250 USD, depending on the smartphone’s network abilities)
-side-located fingerprint sensor
That’s pretty much it. What do you think about the smartphone’s camera design. Would this be something you’d be attracted to if the Huawei Glory 7i ever becomes available outside of China?
