Out of the four biggest US carriers, Verizon is the only one that didn’t hurry announcing the Samsung Galaxy S3 release date (one can argue that neither AT&T did…officially). And maybe that was a good thing as both T-Mobile and Sprint are currently having issues satisfying the S3 demand (both carriers have some workarounds in place, hit the previous link for more details) as Samsung has fallen behind the schedule delivering the units to carriers and retailers (FYI: in case you didn’t know, the Canadian launch has also been pushed back).
Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date at Verizon
If you still remember, we previously reported that the
Samsung Galaxy S3 release date at Verizon
is rumored to be scheduled for July 12th and that if you pre-order you will receive the handset on July 10th. However, this info was valid before finding out that Samsung is not able to deliver as many S3 as the market needs.

Samsung Galaxy S3 At Verizon: Release Date Rumors Seemingly Confirmed
So, many feared that Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S3 will also be affected but, as it stands right now, it seems like the July 12th launch might still be in place. Why is that? Well, because Big Red has updated its S3 pre-order page which now says that the handset will be delivered on July 11th. Just in time for the next day launch in stores everywhere right? Well, we sure hope so.
The other carrier that is supposed to launch the new Galaxy in July is US Cellular. However no exact release date was mentioned by the carrier, neither before word came out of the international delay (for the S4 CPU and 2GB of RAM model, of course) or after.
As a side note, Verizon seems to have a very hectic schedule in the weeks to come as the carrier intends on launching the S3, the mid-range HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE and what might prove to be a worthy competition to Samsung’s flagship, the LG Optimus LTE 2.
Well, that’s about it for now. Let us know in the comments if you’re planning to get a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Big Red and if you think the July 12th rumors are true. In the meantime we’ll keep our ears to the streets and let you know should anything else should pop up.
