Everything About Last War: Survival’s Season 5 Wild West Event

Last War’s Survival’s 5th Season finally dropped not too long ago, and it brings a whole new Wild West map to the game. Every Season has a new story to follow along with quests. The quests introduce new mini-games, modes, and rewards. There’s even a special mechanic about coffee! Here’s everything there is to know about the Wild West update.

How Do the Seasons Work?

Every Season in Last War: Survival is a major update for the game. It introduces new events, game modes, and sometimes even Heroes! The Seasons just bring new stuff overall, which makes it super important to hop on the game when you can. Otherwise, you’ll miss out on a lot of the new weapons and rewards, too.

Sometimes, new mechanics and quality of life changes stay, but other than that, you’re out of luck if you miss the update quests! If you want more Crystal Gold and other currencies, find the best place to buy Last war top up here.

There are two parts of every Season, too, which are the Pre-Season and the Season itself. During the Pre-Season, also known as the Season Preview, you can complete some extra quests before the official Season drops. There are also some special buffs to certain perks like for gathering resources or Heroes in battle. On average players will have a week of the Pre-Season to complete the extra quests and gain the buffs for the Season’s opening.

The Wild West Event Calendar

The Seasons last for about 8 weeks total or a span of about 2 months. A new event will be introduced every week that connects with the Wild West theme. While you don’t have to join every single event, it’s best to join them when you can for as many rewards as possible. Some are more combat-focused, while others are more about gathering resources and beating mini-games.

There are also new currencies too to keep track of. For example, the new Crystal Gold Shop is used to exchange any Crystal Gold you collect throughout the Season. Besides the special quests, the shop lets you pick what rewards you want like cosmetics and different Hero Shards! Other shops include the Warzone Outpost, but that opens later on in the Season.

The Season 5 Events

There are 12 different events planned throughout Season 5, all of which take place and last for different amounts of time. We’ll be going over the most popular and important ones for rewards since there are so many. Just remember that every event gives out Crystal Gold for the Season shops. Feel free to check them so you know just how much you need for the items you want. After the Season ends, the exchange shops close forever, and your Crystal Gold gets switched to other currencies!

The Bank Stronghold Rare Soil War

The first main event that starts for Season 5 is the Bank Strongholds. Banks in the Last War: Survival work as a source of slow investment incomes. The more you upgrade your Banks, and the more Banks you have, the more money you can accrue over time. However, during this event, players can get some higher-level Banks through alliances and attacking enemy strongholds.

Some may think that you can only attack player-run Banks through PVP, but it’s actually only NPC ones. This makes it a lot easier to get the Banks you want, even if you’ve never claimed or deposited in one before. Right now, the only currency that’s depositable is Crystal Gold. But since this is used for the Exchange Shops, you’ll be using and capturing Banks a lot to get some interest out of them.

City Clash

City Clashes are one of the more iconic parts of each Season. It offers the most gameplay out of the rest of the events and lasts throughout the whole update. If you’ve ever played the Civilization series, then this mode will be familiar to you. The whole point is to create your base and claim tiles to expand. Doing so lets you take over other buildings and make alliances with others to gain power.

Part of the fun with City Clash is the ability to start wars with other Cities or bases. This is also where all the rewards during the Season come from. When a war is declared, several levels containing battles against the rival City can be played. Whoever wins gains control of the other City along with the level’s rewards. A win also gives your alliances special boosts to their production rates and personal wars.

High Noon

High Noon is less of a long-standing event and more of a special mini-game for Season 5. Until Week 7, you can play this shooting game daily for some Crystal Gold. Even if you don’t play through the other events, High Noon is a good way to get a steady income of Crystal Gold besides the Banks.

If High Noon feels too simple, though, with its duels, you can actually take this event online! By playing the PVP version, you can actually get way more Crystal Gold by winning. Make sure you practice against NPCs first, though. You won’t lose Crystal Gold by losing matches, but it’ll be less stressful, and you’ll earn more of it over time through NPCs, too.
