Tenker Q5 Mini Projector Review

Got questions about the Tenker Q5 Projector before buying? The following answer is on image size. Find other answers below.
This inexpensive Mini LED projector has dimensions of 7.7 x 5.9 x 2.7 inch. Not the smallest you can buy but still quite small.

It has become quite a popular budget choice so we decided to test it ourselves in order to answer a few of the most common questions, along with other IMPORTANT Questions but maybe not so commonly asked.

Image Size from the Product’s Specifications

The Tenker Q5 is capable of producing an image size between 35 – 150 inches.

Adjusting the size requires moving the projector different distances from the screen you will be projecting the image onto. At a distance of 5 feet away from the screen a 35 inch diagonal image will be produced, at 13 feet away the image size increases to a 150 inches and at 9.8 feet away the image size will be 100 inches.

Recommended image size?

The manufacture states the best movie viewing experience is provided by a screen size of 75 inches which is produced when you set the projector 6.5 feet away from the screen.

But the Maximum is a 150 inch image?

Yes, the Tenker Q5 mini led projector is capable of producing a maximum 150 inch diagonal screen image.

However, as with most every projector the maximum image size listed in the product’s specifications rarely provides the best viewing experience. As image size is increased this will be accompanied by a reduction in image quality.

Our best suggest is to start the projector 13 feet away from the screen then move it closer until you find the distance that best satisfies image size vs. image quality.
